FAQs

No.

Do I need a referral?

No. I operate as a cash-pay practice, but I can provide documentation for possible out-of-network reimbursement.

2

Do you accept insurance?

Why don’t you accept insurance?

3

A cash-pay practice allows me to provide longer, more flexible appointments and maintain a lower patient volume. That means more time to understand your concerns, answer your questions, and develop a treatment plan tailored to your needs.

Insurance-based care is an excellent option for many people. My practice is designed for those who value a more individualized approach or who are looking for an alternative when traditional models haven't fully addressed their concerns.

What makes your practice different?

Many people come to me after trying other treatments feeling discouraged. They’ve often been given a couple different perspectives about what’s going on but they’re still struggling. Some have been given a diagnosis but not an explanation.

I focus on ensuring a mutual understanding of what’s going on. The same MRI finding can mean different things for different people, and similar symptoms can arise from very different causes. Although everyone is unique, effective communication is always necessary for effective management of musculoskeletal conditions.

I enjoy working with people whose symptoms haven't responded as expected to previous treatment or whose presentation isn't straightforward. I often find that taking the time to listen carefully, perform a thorough examination, and thoughtfully work through the problem together helps uncover opportunities that weren't previously apparent. I work with you, drawing from current evidence and a variety of treatment approaches, to develop a plan tailored to your individual needs and goals.

Why house calls?

5

Your life doesn't happen in a clinic. By treating you in your home, I can better understand the challenges you face every day and tailor treatment to your actual environment. That may mean:

  • Practicing the stairs you use every day

  • Modifying your workspace or favorite chair

  • Finding practical ways to exercise using equipment you already own

  • Helping you safely return to the activities that matter most to you

Home visits also reduce transportation barriers, save travel time, and make physical therapy more accessible when pain or mobility limitations make getting to a clinic difficult.
